I haven't posted in awhile, so I figured it was time. Emma did really well for a couple of months. We were able to put peas back in her diet, which meant that pea protein was okay. (Many soy-free items have pea protein.) We found out very quickly though that adding soy back in was not going to work. It took two days of just a little soy to start getting sick again...it began with diarrhea and ended up with vomiting. Since then, we haven't tried adding any other of the 13 food products from her allergen list.
Once we cleared up from the soy, she started doing well again--but not as good as before. We were thankful for every vomit-free and low-vomit days. Unfortunately though, we are back to being sick.
It is hit and miss each day, but this week alone she has thrown up a couple of dozen times. We see the GI doctor over Christmas break, so we will see what is next.
